What is The MAD Fellowship?

The MAD Fellowship is a summer program that connects outstanding ITAM students with high-growth startups in Mexico. Top-performing fellows earn a spot

in a leading international entrepreneurship course.  More than an internship,

it’s a lifelong community and a fast track to a career in tech.

The program accelerates high-potential students by providing the financial, academic, and professional support needed to build world-class careers.

Program requirements

Be a currently enrolled ITAM undergraduate student (Licenciatura or Ingeniería).

Have at least 20 accredited courses by December 31st, 2025.

Demonstrate strong English communication skills.

Be available to attend EPIC Lab workshops with invited experts (May–June 2026).

Be available to work full-time for 8 weeks in summer 2026 (June 8 – July 31).

If selected as an outstanding fellow and Demo Day winner, have a valid passport and visa for the international entrepreneurship course.

The Application Process

  • The MAD Fellowship application includes:

    • Form with educational and professional information

    • The MAD Fellows Challenge (a project-based assessment)

    • Your transcript (historial académico)

    • CV (in English)

  • After submitting your application:

    • Pre-selected candidates will be invited to interview at the EPIC Lab.

    • The selection committee will evaluate applicants, and all applicants will be notified whether they were selected as one of 30 MAD Fellows by the end of April 2026.

Application Deadline: April 8th, 2026.

What to Expect Next

  • Selected fellows will:

    • Attend EPIC Lab workshops and expert sessions prior to the internship.

    • Complete the 8-week full-time startup internship.

    • Participate in Demo Day, where the most outstanding fellows will be selected for a prize.

    • Demo Day winners will receive a fully funded international entrepreneurship course at one of the world’s leading universities.
